Last spring coronavirus disrupted our lives and those of many other families around the world, without distinction. In many countries, however, where emergencies and disasters are a common occurrence, the pandemic turned out to be a double-edged sword, the most vulnerable populations cannot get through the day and are starving. PRO.SA Foundation intervened right away to limit the damages due to the lockdown, protecting the most affected groups.
13 countries, over 10.000 families, more than 5.000 care packages, the same number of sanitary kits, over 15.000 personal protection equipment, 10 summer camps, an ambulance and a Mobile Unit: these are our numbers eight months after the first contagions. Numbers achieved thanks to you who could look beyond, despite everything.
This battle is not over yet, but if we all walk in the same direction, we will be able to rise again, together.
