TIME TO SAY THANK YOU…

In March, the project STOP CHILD ABUSE for the protection of minors in Zambia was concluded.

The Ulemu staff assisted 628 minors in a year, 118 of them were under 10, while 391 of them experienced sexual abuse. It listened to their terrible stories and did its best to grant all of them a serene future, far from violent contexts.

The project also included training workshops for the police force and the healthcare personnel, the spread of radio spots and paper brochures to raise awareness among the local community on this theme.

A huge thank you goes to Fondazione PROSOLIDAR for believing first and then financing the project, to Alessia, Cristina and to all the wonderful people who work by Ulemu, for their daily commitment in listening to the children and taking care of them.

Carrying out STOP CHILD ABUSE project means to give hope to children, who have known nothing but violence in their lives.

Please keep staying on our side in this fight for rights and freedom!
