Another beautiful project needs your help!

Together with two friends of ours, Besara and Lucia, both midwives and volunteers in Universal Civil Service at Tabaka Mission Hospital, in Kenya, we started a fundraising campaign on Facebook to support “SPAZIO MAMMA project – A place to give life in respect of your own rights”. The main goal is to expand and reorganize the maternity ward of the hospital, also purchasing new delivery beds. This aims at providing moms with the right care – before, during and after the childbirth – respecting their privacy and their rights.

“SPAZIO MAMMA” is the second phase of the “Per un Dolce Respiro” project that we carried out last here at the hospital’s New Born Unit, where we installed 3 new incubators and other necessary equipment to ensure adequate and special care for the most vulnerable newborns.
